Payment arrangement

Been with this company for years. I had been calling since this morning was kept on hold for hours. Decided to use the text method which was worse. I started calling at 8 this morning. It is now after 3:30 this is not acceptable. So someone starts chatting with me. I set up a payment arrangement and then the services were turned off.... and still not able to speak with anyone

So I change my filters every month,keep my doors closed,and at one point y’all charge me 17 dollars at one point??....I work from 7-3 and 4-12 Monday to Friday,so I’m barely home only home on the weekends.At first everything was just fine with $3.67 a day,actually using more energy before....Me thinking it would be a blessing coming from TXU,I was wrong.

Hello and to whom this may concern I advise you not to do business with this company. As a single mother it is very difficult to handle managing everything on your own and especially with calculating your expenses and seeing that you have payed nearly $400 for electricity service.

I am to the point where I have to decide to buy food or pay my lights and guess what no electricity means NO FOOD. No where to store it. I am mostly upset because I trusted this company, this was the biggest mistake I ever made. Just this week alone I spent over $150 to keep my lights on.

This is not a fake review. The last time I mentioned I wanted to switch my service I noticed that I was suddenly asked to pay an additional $100 after just paying almost $130 "reconnect". The info you read online is F....A....K.....E.......

THERE IS NO FREE NIGHTS, NO FREE WEEKENDS, there is actually a "FREE ENERGY USAGE PORTION" that they send you in your daily notifications, if you go above it you PAY!!!

YOU WILL HAVE NO CHANCE AT PEACE WITH THIS COMPANY. Imagine having a newborn baby and sitting in the dark....

I just waited on hold for 19 minutes before anyone even bothered to answer - needed to offset my payment until tomorrow- the guy hung up on me for no reason so now I have to call again and wait - my job don’t pay me to sit on the phone and talk to these people - doing this in lunch break — and nothing resolved because I have to go back to work - thanks Acasia for the wasted time … should be compensating customers for their wasted time—

This is BS they need to start letting people know that free weekends is not free they still charge and they shouldn't call it free weekends. then when you go their company you always have to wait about 30 to 45 minutes.

They tell you your on a recorded line but when you ask them to replay it they can't. Just moved in needed temporary service just for the weekend.

So they say the weekends is free. They forgot to turn me on and I had went out and got groceries then call back to find out the order was not put in yet after 3 hours then was told I needed to wait 4 more hours and then I was offered a $5 credit for my inconvenience do you think I would go out and buy $5 worth of groceries for my meat to spoil for $5 credits. FYI Saturday and Sunday was not free they charged and called it taxed. So unprofessional I will not tell you what to do but I will not use this service anymore personally myself.

Spoke to a manager to get an understanding because all the sales reps were telling different stories and then he told his own little story. Not true but fine I've already found a better company to deal with and I will not mess with them prepaid companies ever again.

Blood sucking thirst monsters is what this company is. How can you sleep at night knowing your scamming people and it's not gonna stop soon because it's too much power behind them. But God is watching and he is the only one you can't run and hide from. To the CEO of this company EVERY DOG HAS ITS DAY. I would love to be a fly on the cloud during your judgment day. How do you sleep at night knowing your running a scam company taking from people who is barely getting by? Probably sleep good at night. I was without electricity over the easter Holliday due to lack of valuable information by acacia due solely for speedy payement to their company when I realised they had railroaded me into a corner af

I've talked to them and they flat out lied to me about my refund. Even the MoneyGram told me acaia never requested my money back resulting in more time I won't get paid my money.never will I recommend acia to anyone

It all started when I signed up it says no deposit pay as much as you want so I pay $20 they turn around and don't turn on my electricity I call they say all you have to pay $30 to get it started nowhere does it say that the 1st day I spent 90 kW per hour my average was $8,50 A-day. It has been 3 weeks and I have paid over $200 in my average is now up to $23 A-day but yet I'm still only using a 100 kW per hour how in the h*** does it go up. I use it hasn't changed but yet no one home for an entire day I turn the AC off there's nothing running all day long until 7 o'clock at night and I got a message then next morning saying my usage was still a $100 100 kW but yet my Daily average cost has gone up how is it that he goes up when there's no electricity being used. I have tried and tried and tried I just figure out how to get ahold of somebody besides a stupid customer service rip the don't know *** either. But there's no way to get to anybody yesterday my total use kilowatt 66 my free energy portion of that was 25.33 but yet my usage average went from $20.85 to 21.76. Kilowatts per hour went down by 40 but yet my average price goes up

I am an interstate truck driver and most of the days i am out of town.

But I was paying more than $150 dollars a month. Shame on them

Are you connected to a demand meter ? Do you know what that is ? The rate changes as the overall demand for power increases and is often related to the time of day.

And I would change however I didn't have my card on me and they cut my leg tricity off I was on a job site and so they said they could give me A-day of electricity On a payment plan a dollar and a they didn't tell me they were putting me on a no switch and I pay that I have to weigh 48 hours before I can switch the somebody else complete scams cause once I started doing that once I did that they're charging me more and more everyday

I’m a new customer with Acacia and they close so early during the week to its crazy . I’ve made a payment and would you believe that my services are still not on and I could see if I didn’t pay or was made to be on hold forever and still no service smh.

I thought this was an awesome company at least it started that way . Now after making the payment I wonder how long I will have to sit in the dark without power but they’ve received my payment and was quick to give me a confirmation number.

I want my power back on . I will be calling channel 5 news about this Servive I’m currently receiving from this company.

At first the service was great, but now it's beyond terrible. Twice this week I've been hit with charges close to 20 buck each due to a system error not charging me correctly.

It's like I literally have to pay every other day, and nothing has changed with my usage. And for the most part customer service is a joke now.

I have been a customer of Acacia for about 4 months. It started out fine.However, it has become SO expensive.

I have put a total of $40 on there in the past 2 days.

My energy usage has been consistent. I honestly don't believe they are calculating accurately or they are hitting customers with bogus "charges".I have become very unsatisfied and will be switching companies as of tomorrow morning.

The company quotes low price then charges an average usage per month daily. They round bill up.

I tested by turning everything off and using space heat 1st day dropped electricity usage from 46.58 to 38.61 2nd day zero heat dropped usage to 18.319kwh. My daily price for electric stay the same ZERO DROP. Scam!

There is a problem when you sit in the dark all day with no heat and they’re still billing you at five dollars a day times 30 is like $150-$180 and I’m sitting in the dark. No TV making sure nothing plugged in and I’m still paying way too much.

During that call we were able to resolve your concern for increased billing during the higher usage cold days. It can be very frustrating when you are doing everything you can to lower your usage (lights off, no TV, etc.) but the usage continues to increase. Even though lowering your thermostat can save you some money electric heat systems still need to run very hard to keep the temperature up when its cold This is due to poor insulation and inefficient heating units.

Acacia Energy has very competitive rates, great customer service and transparent, clear billing. We service tens of thousands of customers per month and satisfy 99.99% of them on a consistent basis.

Unfortunately customers only comment on this site when they are pissed, hence the name, and never when then are happy. Furthermore, most of the comments are like yours, completely anonymous, unverifiable and without specific facts.

Acacia's execute management team personally handles every complaint and has a great track record of resolving customer issues. If you take the time to read the company responses and not only the comment you will see many have a positive resolve if the customer gives us contact information.

Acacia Energy spoke to customer. Explained to customer that usage is automatically billed, based on daily read, electronically sent from customers TDU (Transmission and Distribution Utility, such as Centerpoint or Oncor).

We suggested she call TDU for meter test. But, after reviewing the actual daily billing in detail customer agreed that billing is likely accurate. Usage billing is 2 days behind and customer did not realize this. Customer usage did drop dramatically for the days customer took action to lower it.

Customer satisfied with usage review but wanted a fixed rate plan. Acacia Energy does have a fixed rate plan and is in the process of moving this customer to that plan.
